In attending this executive workshop, as a director or manager you will examine how pre-tenancy strategies, systems and processes can be improved to maximise organisational income from the start. It will cover ways to better understand and mitigate risk, ensuring that pre-tenancy work can be felt in your organisation’s service delivery while providing appropriate support for tenants. Attendees will receive insight from the latest experience across the UK, tailored for the Northern Ireland context.

This executive workshop will be delivered by Cath Davies, who has worked in social housing in the UK for over 30 years. She has worked as a freelance consultant for the last seven years, specialising in rent income collection.

As a senior associate Cath developed and led two flagship Working Together projects - Working Together to Collect the Rent and Working Together to Create Sustainable Tenancies. Both projects had a strong focus on the importance of pre-tenancy activities to maximise rent collection and create sustainable tenancies. Cath worked with over 30 landlords during the course of these two projects, delivering workshops and reviewing and advising on existing services.
