Conference Details
The conference, sponsored by AIB, will take place over one full-day (Wednesday 19th Oct) and one half-day (Thursday 20th Oct) in the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo, Rosses Point Road, Sligo.
- This year’s conference, sponsored by AIB, will be a rigorous inquiry into housing finance and development for the future with themes that include:
- sustainable and affordable housing solutions;
- regeneration, retrofitting and innovative building technologies;
- social value creation and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) investing;
- the role of international investment funds;
- innovation and social inclusion; and
- securing the future of the AHB sector through collaboration.
Our speakers include representatives from the public, private and non-profit sectors including our AHB member organisations, local authorities, the Department of Housing Local Government and Heritage, The Housing Agency and AIB. Panellists will be joined by housing, finance and institutional investment experts from across Europe.

The conference fee includes conference documentation, lunches and conference dinner. Overnight accommodation or travel costs are not included. Each delegate will be booking and paying their own hotel account. Badges and attendee list with names, job titles and organisation will be distributed during the conference to facilitate networking. An invoice will be forwarded from the Irish Council for Social Housing requesting payment for the delegate entrance for the conference.

Rooms can be booked directly with the hotel while there is availability. Overnight accommodation must be booked directly with the hotel. Each delegate will be paying their own hotel account. The conference will be on Wednesday 19th October 2022 & Thursday 20th October 2022

The Clayton Hotel Sligo
The Bed & Breakfast rates are as follows: €120 per double/twin per room per night; €110 single occupancy rate per room per night. These rooms at the discounted delegate rate at The Clayton Hotel Sligo are on hold until Friday 16th September 2022 and then will be released back to the normal price. Rooms can be booked directly with the hotel and when booking mention that there is a delegate rate for the Irish Council for Social Housing Conference. Overnight accommodation must be booked directly with the hotel. Each guest will be paying their own hotel account.
