This evening seminar will focus on homelessness in Ireland.
Despite substantial increases in funding and the development of services, the number of people experiencing homelessness has risen month-on-month over the last number of years. The number of families experiencing homelessness has risen sharply.
The objective of the event is to gather workable ideas on what is needed to make real progress in preventing and reducing homelessness.
Ideas and proposals put forward will be gathered together and submitted to the Minister for consideration.

John O’Connor, Chief Executive of The Housing Agency
Eileen Gleeson: Director of the Dublin Region Homeless Executive will outline progress to-date in addressing homelessness
Professor Eoin O’Sullivan: Trinity College Dublin, will focus on the lessons we can learn from other countries
Niamh Randall: National Spokesperson Simon Communities, will provide insights from those working with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness
Ideas and Discussion
Anne Connolly, Director of ISAX, will facilitate the discussion.
