Debt Management Units have been established in Irish Local Authorities to deal with many areas of debt management including debts associated with commercial rates, housing rents and housing loans. The focus of this programme centres around the management of debts associated with commercial rates.

In order to minimise time away from work for participants, the programme of four modules will be delivered over two x two days (April 27th & 28th and May 11th & 12th).

The programme will enable participants to share their individual experiences in commercial rates arrears management and also will provide an opportunity to network with other Debt Management Practitioners.

Upon completion of the programme, participants will have an enhanced understanding in the complex area of Debt Management and will have developed their skills and techniques for Effective Debt /Credit Management and trigger alerts to higher levels of management.

Places on the programme will be offered on a first come first served basis and there will be 25 places available on each of the programmes. All bookings must be received in writing to secure a place.

To obtain the maximum benefit of this training we recommend attendance at all four modules, however participants can choose to attend only those of most relevance to them. Please ensure you confirm the modules you will attend when booking online or using the booking form.
