This webinar which will examine the AHB Allocation Process Code of Practice and provide valuable insights and experiences related to it. The Code of Practice is aligned with the 13 recommendations outlined in the Local Government Audit Service Value for Money Report No. 29. Its main objective is to foster a collaborative approach to housing allocations between Local Authorities and Approved Housing Bodies. By adopting a consistent and streamlined approach to the nominations and allocations process, the Code of Practice seeks to eliminate lengthy void and re-let times, and achieve greater efficiency in the allocation of housing support to applicants on social housing waiting lists.
